Your Future in Community Planning Starts Here

At the Community Planning Association of Alberta (CPAA), we believe students are the future of strong, connected, and sustainable communities.
Whether you’re studying urban planning, regional development, community design, or a related field, CPAA offers opportunities to connect with planning professionals, showcase your research, gain practical insights, and build relationships that support your future career.
Through student awards, university scholarships, networking events, and our annual conference, we’re committed to supporting the next generation of community planning professionals across Alberta.
